WRITING

Between 2012 and 2014, Murray completed two major books - one on the House of French crystal producer Baccarat, and the other on the House of the Danish silversmithy, Georg Jensen, both published by the venerable Italian firm, Rizzoli. In that same period, a boutique publisher of art books, August Editions, published Tertium Quid, featuring works from Murray's collection of vintage press photographs. A third book for Rizzoli, a memoir written by Moss and Getchell about their life at MOSS, was released in 2018.

Based on the success of the books, there were extensive additional consulting contracts with both Baccarat and Jensen, and also book signing tours to Europe and to China.

Tertium Quid was launched with a major exhibition at Hauser and Wirth, and had a second exhibition at Edelman Arts Gallery.

For four years, Murray also wrote "PS", a monthly essay appearing at the end of each issue of the leading design magazine, Interior Design.
